For more than the last ten years, art has been a central part of Petr Beránek's life. Initially he concentrated almost exclusively on figurative painting, but in time turned to more abstract motives.

Today the artist uses not only brushes and paint: glass and other materials are increasingly employed to create a fusion of figurative and abstract elements.
