For quite some time Petr Beránek has been fascinated by the so-called gumprints.

A Gumprint is created with a special printing technology: Using gum arabic the artist can print a picture only once on a press. Petr Beráneks artwork is always composed of several gumprints. Therefore it is sort of a printed collage.
